Working group
The Academic Careers Working Group brings together the expertise of various offices and departments at the University of Bern in the field of supporting early-career researchers.
Objectives
- Regular, institutionalized exchange of information on current measures in the field of supporting early-career researchers and academic careers.
- Provision of expertise for decisions by the university's governing bodies.
- Advising other university units.
- Collecting best practices, developing model examples, and feeding suggestions into internal university decision-making processes.
- Exchange with internal and external university departments, whereby contact with other universities and institutions in the higher education landscape should also be maintained.
