Open Science
Open Science means making research more transparent, comprehensible, and accessible to everyone. Researchers openly share their results, data, and methods, collaborate, and make their work available to others.
Important topics for junior academics include, for example:
- Research data management – how to organize, store, and share data correctly
- Open access dissertations – how to make theses freely accessible
- BORIS Portal (institutional repository) – where research results can be published online
Research data management
Having a grip on research data: Data stewards provide support in the form of advice, workshops, and events on open science and open data.
Open Access dissertations
Dissertations can now be published in open access in the “Theses” collection directly on the BORIS portal.
BORIS Portal (Institutional Repository)
The BORIS portal makes publications, data, and projects from UniBE visible.
