Workshop Narrative CV
Monday, 2026/03/30, 12:15
Narrative CVs are increasingly required by funding agencies and other parts of academic life, though they are not well understood nor taught formally. This course will provide a basic anatomy of the narrative CV's rhetorical moves, based on an analysis of language patterns that define the genre. It will focus on examples from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The course will also provide some background about the narrative CV. Several weeks after the workshop, there will be a follow-up interactive session to discuss students' writing progress and challenges. Please note: The workshop lasts two days (March 30 and April 13, 2026). The course is open to doctoral candidates.
